🩵 Azul is an Alpir, one of the many diverse species of half-beast in the Hinterlands.

They have similar genealogy with leopards and big cats, and are nocturnal.

Alpir spend the majority of their life in trees, are strict carnivores, and have pale, skin dotted with speckles of bioluminescence. They come in a handful of colors, but the majority of them are blue.

One of the first species to adapt and survive in the Dusk Era, Alpir’s ‘many ears’ are actually all connected to the same two bones running alongside their skulls. The many ears all funnel sound to the two malleus bones, and that vibration allows the sound to be perceived. The Alpir’s main source of perception is that sound, and their highest strength is in the mental focus it takes to lock in on certain noises (prey.)
